- Slack Webhook URLs: Stored locally in your browser's localStorage to enable message sending functionality.
- Channel Names: Custom nicknames you assign to your webhooks, stored locally.
- Message History: Your last 50 sent messages, stored locally in your browser for your reference.
- Theme Preferences: Your light/dark mode preference, stored locally.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the core functionality of sending messages to Slack
- To remember your channel configurations between sessions
- To display your message history for tracking sent messages
- To apply your preferred visual theme
Data Storage & Privacy
100% Client-Side Storage: All your data (webhook URLs, channel names, message history, preferences) is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. We do NOT transmit or store any of your data on our servers.
No External Database: We do not use any external database or cloud storage for your personal information.
Direct Communication: Messages are sent directly from your browser to Slack's API endpoints. We do not intercept, log, or store your message content.
How We Protect Your Information
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information:
- Webhook URLs can be masked (hidden) in the UI to prevent exposure during screen sharing
- All data remains on your local device and is never transmitted to third parties
- You have full control to clear your data at any time through the app interface
Note: No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for any changes.
